Welcome to our practice! Dr. Farady has been serving the Austin area since 1995. She and her staff are dedicated to providing quality, personalized dermatologic care in a comfortable and relaxed environment. We believe in taking care of you, not just your skin. Our holistic approach recognizes that diet, stress, and other lifestyle factors can play an important role in the development of skin disease, and that addressing these issues is an integral part of the treatment plan.

What's New
Dr. Farady and her staff have formed a solo practice as of April 1, 2012. We will continue to have a close realtionship with our friends and colleagues at Balcones Dermatology Associates and we wish them well!

Skin Care Store and Spa now open on Saturdays!
Our skin care store will now be open on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, starting May 4! We will also offer esthetic services with Sarena during these hours. If you work during the week, this is your chance to browse our special selection of quality skin care products and sun protective gear. Or take advantage of the opportunity to get your monthly maintenance done (waxing, tinting), or indulge in a relaxing facial. You've worked hard all week; you deserve a treat!

Apollo by Tripollar/First in Austin!
Apollo, powered by Tripollar technology, is a third generation radiofrequency device that delivers focused and dense heating to the deep layers of skin without pain, resulting in tightening of collagen (wrinkle reduction and skin tightening.) It can also be used for body tightening and cellulite reduction by heating the subcutaneous fat. A thermal imaging system allows the operator to monitor the level of tissue heating and customize the treatment for either skin tightening or fat reduction. There is no downtime and no pain! Treatments feel like a warm massage.
Most treatments can be completed in less than an hour. A series of 6 to 8 weekly treatments is recommended for optimal results. Collagen tightening will continue for several months after the last treatment. Maintenance treatments every 4 to 6 months is recommended to maintain results, as our skin does unfortunately continue to age.
Almost any area of the face or body can be treated (except breasts.) People of any skin color may be treated safely. Apollo treatments may be performed 3 weeks after facial fillers. Apollo treatments should not be performed over metal implants or fat implants.
Treatment areas include face (including jawline), periorbital (area around eyes), perioral (area around lips), neck/decollete, hands, arms, thighs, abdomen, and buttocks. Fees vary according to area treated. Our staff loves this treatment! We've seen tightening even after one or two treatments!
